01. The Challenge & Solution

Next Level Wardrobe, a personal styling company based in New York City, wanted to build awareness for its brand, attract more clients to the website, and highlight their virtual styling services in the midst of the pandemic.

Next Level Wardrobe and HQlinkers formed a partnership that skyrocketed their rankings and organic traffic. HQlinkers provided the strategy, ongoing SEO services, and website management and monitoring while Next Level Wardrobe created the content. This collaborative approach allowed Next Level Wardrobe to stay within their small business budget while still achieving big results.

The project kicked-off with a discovery meeting to discuss Next Level Wardrobe’s SEO goals. We then performed a website audit and analyzed the competition to develop a strategy that focused on all facets of SEO, including on-page, off-page, technical, and local improvements. Once capital improvements were complete, we met monthly to review website activity, provide SEO training, and develop a strategy that capitalized on areas of opportunity.

Throughout the engagement,HQlinkers and Next Level Wardrobe worked together to:

  1. Identify the industry-relevant keywords to strategically target those that produced the highest ROI
  2. Create keyword-driven website content, blog posts, and videos that delivered an engaging and quality experience to the user
  3. Maximize the SEO impact of existing content through robust re-optimization and refocused keyword targeting
  4. Implement technical optimizations that improved mobile speed by 42 points and desktop speed by 35 points
  5. Fix the Google My Business page by correcting the category and the business address, getting the site to rank in the local map pack for a third of its target terms
